A Workshop on ‘Healing Through Reading: Bibliotherapy in School Libraries’.

The Advance Information Network of Libraries in Gujarat (ADINET), in collaboration with Udgam School for Children, is hosting a landmark workshop titled Healing Through Reading: Bibliotherapy in School Libraries.

This unique workshop will be catering to School Librarians, Students Counsellors and Language teachers.

Objective: To equip school librarians with the knowledge, tools, and strategies to implement bibliotherapy as a supportive practice for students’ emotional and social well-being.

Discover how books can support emotional well-being and personal growth in schools through the “Healing Through Reading: Bibliotherapy in School Libraries” workshop. Explore bibliotherapy, storytelling, author interaction, collaborative activities, best practices, and practical resources for school library professionals.

It is scheduled for Saturday, September 26, 2026 at the USFC Auditorium, Thaltej, Ahmedabad. The brochure for the same has been enclosed herewith.
